Rafi, Mina, and Tuhin met at the mango grove after school. Rafi brought a paper map for a small treasure game.
রাফি, মিনা আর তুহিন স্কুল শেষে আমবাগানে দেখা করল। রাফি একটা ছোট ধন-খোঁজার খেলার জন্য কাগজের মানচিত্র এনেছিল।
Rafi, Mina, and Tuhin met at the mango grove after school. Rafi brought a paper map for a small treasure game. The wind blew and the map flew away into the trees. "Oh no!" said Mina. "We must find it together," said Tuhin.
রাফি, মিনা আর তুহিন স্কুল শেষে আমবাগানে দেখা করল। রাফি একটা ছোট ধন-খোঁজার খেলার জন্য কাগজের মানচিত্র এনেছিল। হাওয়ায় মানচিত্রটা গাছের দিকে উড়ে গেল। "ওহ না!" বলল মিনা। "মিলে খুঁজে বের করব," বলল তুহিন।
They looked where the map had gone. Under a low branch they found a small round sticker stuck on a leaf. The sticker had a tiny mango drawn on it. "This is a clue," said Mina. "Yes," said Rafi, "follow the mango signs."
তারা খুঁজে দেখল মানচিত্রটা কোথায় গেছে। নিচু ডালের একটি পাতায় ছোট গোল স্টিকার লাগানো ছিল। স্টিকারটায় একটি ছোট আম আঁকা ছিল। "এটা একটা ইঙ্গিত," বলল মিনা। "হ্যাঁ," বলল রাফি, "আমের চিহ্নগুলো অনুসরণ করো।"
They walked between mango trees and found another sticker on a fallen twig. Tuhin noticed footprints in soft mud nearby. "These footprints are small, like a child's," he said. They decided the map might be near the footprints.
তারা আমগাছের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে পড়ে থাকা একটি ডালে আরেকটা স্টিকার পেল। তুহিন কাছের নরম কাদায় পায়ের ছাপ দেখল। "এগুলো ছোট, শিশুর মতো," সে বলল। তারা ঠিক করল মানচিত্রটা পায়ের ছাপের কাছেই থাকতে পারে।
Near an old tree root they found small torn pieces of paper. Mina held one up.
তারা ধীরে ধীরে পায়ের ছাপ অনুসরণ করল। পুরোনো গাছের গোড়ার কাছে তারা ছোট ছোট ছেঁড়া কাগজের টুকরো পেল। মিনা সেটা তুলে ধরল। "এটা মানচিত্রের একটি অংশ," সে বলল। রাফি হাসল এবং হাততালি দিল।
The torn paper led them to a small pile of dry leaves. Under the leaves they heard a soft rustle. Tuhin gently moved the leaves and found the folded map. "We found it!" everyone cheered.
ছেঁড়া কাগজ তাদের শুকনো পাতার একটি ছোট স্তূপের কাছে নিয়ে গেল। পাতার নিচে তারা মৃদু সরসর শব্দ শুনল। তুহিন আলতোভাবে পাতাগুলো সরিয়ে ভাঁজ করা মানচিত্রটা পেল। "পেয়ে গেছি!" সবাই আনন্দে উল্লাস করল।
They opened the map and saw the spot marked with a star. The star was near the biggest mango tree in the grove. Rafi said, "Let's go together and dig a little." Mina and Tuhin nodded.
তারা মানচিত্র খুলে দেখল একটি তারকা-চিহ্নিত জায়গা আছে। সেই তারকা-চিহ্নটি আমবাগানের সবচেয়ে বড় আমগাছের কাছে। রাফি বলল, "চলো একসাথে একটু খুঁড়ি।" মিনা আর তুহিন মাথা নেড়ে সম্মতি দিল।
They dug a small hole and found a tin box with a few candies and a note. The note said, "Play kindly and share." They shared the candies and laughed. The friends walked home holding hands, proud of their teamwork.
তারা একটু গর্ত খুঁড়ে কয়েকটা মিষ্টি আর একটা নোটসহ টিনের বাক্স পেল। নোটে লেখা ছিল, "ভদ্রভাবে খেলো এবং ভাগ করে নাও।" তারা মিষ্টিগুলো ভাগ করে খেয়ে হাসল। বন্ধুরা হাতে হাত ধরে বাড়ি ফিরল, তাদের দলগত কাজ নিয়ে গর্বিত হলো।
