One sunny morning, Fino the little fox was walking through the forest. Near a big oak tree, he saw something sparkling in the grass.
এক রৌদ্রোজ্জ্বল সকালে ছোট্ট শিয়াল ফিনো বনের ভেতর দিয়ে হাঁটছিল। একটি বড় ওক গাছের পাশে সে ঘাসের মধ্যে চকচকে কিছু দেখতে পেল।
One sunny morning, Fino the little fox was walking through the forest. Near a big oak tree, he saw something sparkling in the grass. It was a beautiful golden necklace!
এক রৌদ্রোজ্জ্বল সকালে ছোট্ট শিয়াল ফিনো বনের ভেতর দিয়ে হাঁটছিল। একটি বড় ওক গাছের পাশে সে ঘাসের মধ্যে চকচকে কিছু দেখতে পেল। সেটি ছিল একটি সুন্দর সোনালি হার!
Fino picked up the necklace. “Wow! It is so beautiful!” he said. For a moment, he wanted to keep it. But then he thought, “Someone must be looking for this.”
ফিনো হারটি তুলে নিল। সে বলল, “বাহ! এটা কত সুন্দর!” এক মুহূর্তের জন্য তার হারটি নিজের কাছে রাখতে ইচ্ছে হলো। কিন্তু তারপর সে ভাবল, “কেউ নিশ্চয়ই এটা খুঁজছে।”
Fino walked around the forest asking everyone, “Did you lose a necklace?” He asked the rabbit, the squirrel, and the deer, but the necklace belonged to none of them.
ফিনো বনজুড়ে ঘুরে সবাইকে জিজ্ঞেস করল, “তোমার কি কোনো হার হারিয়েছে?” সে খরগোশ, কাঠবিড়ালি আর হরিণকে জিজ্ঞেস করল, কিন্তু হারটি তাদের কারও ছিল না।
Soon, Fino heard someone crying near the river. A little bear was searching under the flowers and leaves. “I lost my mother’s necklace,” she said sadly.
কিছুক্ষণ পর নদীর পাশে ফিনো কারও কান্নার শব্দ শুনল। একটি ছোট্ট ভালুক ফুল আর পাতার নিচে কিছু খুঁজছিল। সে দুঃখ করে বলল, “আমি আমার মায়ের হারটি হারিয়ে ফেলেছি।”
Fino smiled and held out the golden necklace. “Is this yours?” he asked. The little bear’s eyes lit up. “Yes! You found it!” she cried happily.
ফিনো হেসে সোনালি হারটি সামনে ধরল। সে জিজ্ঞেস করল, “এটা কি তোমার?” ছোট্ট ভালুকটির চোখ আনন্দে উজ্জ্বল হয়ে উঠল। সে খুশিতে বলল, “হ্যাঁ! তুমি এটা খুঁজে পেয়েছ!”
The little bear thanked Fino and hurried home. Fino had no golden necklace, but as he walked through the forest, he felt happier than before. He knew he had done the right thing.
ছোট্ট ভালুকটি ফিনোকে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে বাড়ির দিকে ছুটে গেল। ফিনোর কাছে আর সোনালি হারটি ছিল না, কিন্তু বনের পথে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে তার মন আগের চেয়েও বেশি আনন্দে ভরে গেল। সে জানত, সে সঠিক কাজ করেছে।
