One day, the Wind and the Sun had an argument. They wanted to know who was stronger. They saw a man walking along the road.
একদিন বাতাস ও সূর্যের মধ্যে তর্ক হলো। তারা জানতে চাইল, কে বেশি শক্তিশালী। তারা দেখল, একজন মানুষ রাস্তা দিয়ে হাঁটছে।
One day, the Wind and the Sun had an argument. They wanted to know who was stronger. They saw a man walking along the road.
একদিন বাতাস ও সূর্যের মধ্যে তর্ক হলো। তারা জানতে চাইল, কে বেশি শক্তিশালী। তারা দেখল, একজন মানুষ রাস্তা দিয়ে হাঁটছে।
The Wind blew very hard and tried to make the man's coat come off. But the man held his coat tightly and kept walking.
বাতাস খুব জোরে বইতে লাগল এবং লোকটির গায়ের কোটটি খুলে ফেলার চেষ্টা করল। কিন্তু লোকটি তার কোট শক্ত করে ধরে হাঁটতে থাকল।
Then the Sun came out and shone warmly. The man soon felt hot and took off his coat by himself. The Sun smiled and said, “Gentleness can be stronger than force.”
তারপর সূর্য বেরিয়ে এসে উষ্ণ আলো দিতে লাগল। কিছুক্ষণ পর লোকটির গরম লাগল এবং সে নিজেই কোট খুলে ফেলল। সূর্য হেসে বলল, “জোরের চেয়ে কোমলতা অনেক সময় বেশি শক্তিশালী হয়।”
Gentleness is stronger than force.
