The monkey became friends with the crocodile and shared fruits with him. But the crocodile's wife wanted to eat the monkey's heart.
The crocodile took the monkey across the river. On the way, he told the monkey about his wife's plan. The clever monkey said, “Oh! I left my heart in the tree. Please take me back.” The crocodile believed him and took him back. The monkey quickly climbed the tree and escaped.
